Arthur Rosenfield

Arthur Rosenfield is Professor Emeritus of Diagnostic Radiology and Biomedical Engineering at the Yale School of Medicine. He joined the department in 1975. After initially working in the early years of diagnostic ultrasonograpry, in 1980 he became Chief of Computed Tomography. His main area of clinical work and research has been in abdominal imaging, particularly imaging of the urinary tract. He has also held a joint appointment in the Department of Urology. His many administrative positions have included a tenure as Vice Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology. His research has resulted in many publications and awards including serving as Distinguished Scientist of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.
